Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience as a people manager of technical research or ML teams.
• Experience with agentic AI systems and tool-use frameworks.
• Familiarity with the full LLM development lifecycle from pre-training to evaluation.
• Ability to bridge research depth with organizational leadership and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of research scientists and research engineers.
• Ensure execution against Skyfall's research agenda with speed, quality, and rigor.
• Remove blockers, improve workflows, and build scalable processes.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and thoughtful risk-taking.
• Drive recruiting for world-class research talent and provide performance feedback.
• Coordinate between research, engineering, and business teams to align priorities.
• Communicate progress and results to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
