Coinbase is recruiting a Frontend Software Engineer to own end-to-end frontend development for the Financial Services & Loyalty team. • 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong frontend focus.
• Own features end to end from design through production release.
• Experience with experimentation frameworks and funnel optimization.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend engineering teams.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end frontend development for web and mobile using React and React Native across card onboarding, rewards, transactions, and payment flows.
• Build new features expanding Coinbase's loyalty and card products, shipping high-quality code impacting engagement and revenue.
• Lead experimentation and funnel optimization to improve conversion, activation, and retention across key user journeys.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering to translate requirements into polished frontend experiences.
• Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks, improving CUJ latency and availability SLOs.
