Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking Front End Associates to guide customers to open registers and support them at assisted checkouts. You will expertly process transactions and ensure accuracy while upholding safety policies in a busy store environment.

You will promote additional services such as Credit, Extended Warranty, Tool Rental, and Pro Services, while delivering friendly, efficient service and maintaining product knowledge to meet customers’ needs.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail or cash handling experience is an asset.
• Flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct customers to open registers and assist at the assisted checkout.
• Process transactions accurately and timely using the GET checkout process.
• Promote and recommend services such as Credit, Extended Warranty, Tool Rental, Pro Services, etc.
• Maintain safety and minimize shrink.
• Provide knowledge of products and services to meet customer needs.
