Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Front Store Manager and Field Operations Specialist in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This full-time role involves leading store operations, traveling to support district initiatives, and partnering with Human Resources on staffing and performance management.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership and communication skills, and a background in merchandising. Valid driver's license and a Criminal Record Check are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience with leadership and training ability.
• Strong people management and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication with customers, staff, and suppliers.
• Experience with retail giftware merchandising is a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence is required.
• Criminal Record Check required.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout Saskatchewan to support store operations and special assignments.
• Provide leadership and operational support to achieve store and district objectives.
• Promote and uphold policies while fostering a positive, engaging workplace culture.
• Oversee front store operations, including staffing, scheduling, cash handling, security procedures, customer concerns, and employee discounts.
• Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Ensure proper execution of store opening and closing procedures, banking activities, and daily operational reporting.
• Support inventory management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and gross margin objectives in collaboration with Store Operators and Pharmacy Managers.
• Coordinate promotions, merchandising initiatives, planograms, seasonal displays, signage, and point-of-purchase materials.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to improve product assortment and promotional effectiveness.
• Follow up with store teams to ensure timely ordering, inventory maintenance, and adherence to standards.
• Support seasonal OTC pre-bookings, promotional programs, and display changes.
• Serve as a liaison to support Regional Operations Directors, District Directors, Store Operators, and Pharmacy Managers.
