  • Oversee front store operations, including staffing, scheduling, cash handling, security procedures, customer concerns, and employee discounts.
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure proper execution of store opening and closing procedures, banking activities, and daily operational reporting.
  • Support inventory management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and gross margin objectives in collaboration with Store Operators and Pharmacy Managers.
  • Coordinate promotions, merchandising initiatives, planograms, seasonal displays, signage, and point-of-purchase materials.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to improve product assortment and promotional effectiveness.
  • Follow up with store teams to ensure timely ordering, inventory maintenance, and adherence to standards.
  • Support seasonal OTC pre-bookings, promotional programs, and display changes.
  • Serve as a liaison to support Regional Operations Directors, District Directors, Store Operators, and Pharmacy Managers.

Responsibilities:
  • Travel throughout Saskatchewan to support store operations and special assignments.
  • Provide leadership and operational support to achieve store and district strategic objectives.
  • Promote and uphold Neighbourly Pharmacy policies while fostering a positive, engaging workplace culture.
  • Oversee front store operations, including staffing, scheduling, cash handling, security procedures, customer concerns, and employee discounts.
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure proper execution of store opening and closing procedures, banking activities, and daily operational reporting.
  • Support inventory management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and gross margin objectives in collaboration with Store Operators and Pharmacy Managers.
  • Manage inventory control processes, cycle counts, shrink reduction initiatives, receiving procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate and execute promotions, merchandising initiatives, planograms, seasonal displays, signage, and point-of-purchase materials.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to improve product assortment, merchandising, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Follow up with store teams to ensure timely ordering, receiving, inventory maintenance, and adherence to operational standards.
  • Support seasonal OTC pre-bookings, promotional programs, and display changes.
  • Serve as a key liaison to support Regional Operations Directors, District Directors, Store Operators, and Pharmacy Managers in achieving operational excellence.
  • Drive consistency in operational standards and processes to enhance the customer and patient experience while supporting overall business objectives.
  • Maintain leadership responsibilities within your assigned store while providing field-level operational support across the district.
  • Complete miscellaneous projects and operational initiatives as assigned by the Store Operator, Pharmacy Manager, Regional Operations Director, or District Director.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of retail management experience (preferred), with proven ability to lead and train teams.
  • Strong people management and interpersonal skills, including motivation, delegation, conflict resolution, active listening, and respectful communication.
  • Professional attitude with excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Experience with retail giftware merchandising is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s licence required.
  • Criminal Record Check required
Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week.
