Job summary

TD Asset Management is seeking a front-office Data Analyst to join the Portfolio Research & Analytics team to develop cutting-edge portfolio management and reporting tools.

You will collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Traders to automate data flows and build dashboards using SQL, Python, and BI tools. This Co-op offers mentoring and projects across teams, with a downtown Toronto location and a hybrid work model (4 days in office).

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree (Math, Engineering, CS, Economics) with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term.
• Strong SQL (or similar database) skills and ability to work with large datasets; communicate ideas effectively.
• Experience developing dashboards (Superset, Tableau, PowerBI) or other data visualization tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards and reporting tools to support portfolio management.
• Automate data flows and work with Portfolio Managers and Traders to deliver insights.
• Gain experience with large datasets and SQL databases while collaborating with front-office teams.
