Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is hiring for a Head Cashier in Abbotsford. The role supports the Front End Supervisor by coaching and developing Front End and Lot Associates, managing scheduling, and handling escalations to ensure a great customer experience.

You will lead by example, promote GET behaviours, and safeguard store assets. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail or cash experience and at least 1 year of leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years retail or cash experience is asset.
• Minimum 1 year leading people.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in demonstrating GET behaviours and promote positive associate morale.
• Ensure sufficient checkouts by maintaining lines at the registers.
• Walk front end for customer experience, ensure readiness and ad execution.
• Observe and manage staffing to meet business needs.
• Provide training, information, tools, and coaching to associates.
