Job summary

Staffingine LLC in Toronto, ON is seeking a Front End Developer for a contract role to own the design and delivery of high quality features. You will participate in sprint planning, ensure secure solutions, and optimize performance while collaborating with the tech lead on component design.

You will work with UX designers and product owners to deliver the best user experience, and contribute to automated testing using Jest, Cypress, and Playwright in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web app development experience using Agile methodologies.
• Front-end development with modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Collaborate with UX designers and product owners to deliver great UX.
• Deliver high-quality code with automated unit and end-to-end tests (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• Front-end development experience and knowledge of Javascript modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Experience writing and working with REST APIs.
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams working on features for our customers
• Familiarity with automated build pipelines; continuous integration or continuous delivery
• Proven experience using code repositories such as GitHub.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with UX designers and Product owners to deliver the best UX for our customers
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code using automated tests for unit tests and end-to-end tests (using Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace customer centric environment.
• 5+ years of experience in web application development using Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with A/B testing
• Familiarity with deploying to cloud providers in and container-based distributed systems (Docker).
