Job summary

Sobeys is hiring a Store Clerk in St. Albert, AB. You will deliver exceptional customer service, operate the cash register, and keep the front end tidy and efficient. You may work various shifts and support a fast-paced store environment.

You will balance cash, process transactions, and assist customers with care and professionalism, ensuring safety and accuracy at all times.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cashier systems is a plus.

Here\'swhere you will befocusing:

Enter and/or scan the item(s) selected by the customer.

Ensure entered/scanned prices areaccurate, andcancel transactions according to established standards.

Handle cash and other payment methods (debit cards, cheques, etc.) and make deposits according to established policies.

Balance the cash register.

Meet productivity standards (sales/hour, entries/minute).

Provide exceptional and attentive customer service.

Bag items according to established standards.

Keep work areas and uniform clean and well-maintained.

Use equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.

Comply withestablished food safety and hygiene standards.

Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of the cash register system is a major asset.
