Job Description

First impressions are crucial! As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will manage guest experiences from arrival to departure, ensuring a memorable stay.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Consistently providing professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  2. Greeting guests, checking them in, and settling their accounts following service standards.
  3. Providing guests with information about hotel facilities in a helpful manner.
  4. Adhering to department policies, procedures, and service standards.
  5. Taking initiative to personalize guest experiences.
  6. Promoting hotel facilities and seeking opportunities to enhance guest stays through upselling.

Qualifications

  • A service-focused personality is essential; hotel experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset.
  • Experience with Opera or similar systems.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications is an asset.
  • Professional appearance and presentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player capable of working cohesively with colleagues.
  • Flexible to work shifts.
