Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking Front Desk Associates to deliver first-rate service and foster member satisfaction. You will greet members, handle inquiries, process payments, and promote memberships and promotions with a friendly, energetic demeanor.

The role requires a physical, customer-focused individual with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment and to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Fitness industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• A High School Diploma Or Equivalent required.
• Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner with hellos and goodbyes.
• Anticipate member's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all members.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service with accurate information.
• Resolve customer concerns with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain the club clean for up to 50% of the shift.
• Handle payments from customers and give change/receipts.
• Promote products and special promotions to drive revenue.

The Front Desk Associate must be adept at balancing multiple tasks with a friendly, courteous demeanor.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner with hellos and goodbyes.Anticipate member's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all membersProvide gracious and efficient telephone service.
