Job summary

Give & Go is seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver (Freezer) to move and manage materials in a freezer warehouse. You will handle shipping, receiving, inventory, and timely delivery to production while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include operating forklifts, logging inventory, and coordinating with Production, Planning, Logistics and Supply Chain teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Forklift Operator Certification.
• Minimum 3 years of forklift operating experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is asset.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping/receiving processes.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and food safety requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all employees by reporting incidents, accidents, near misses, and hazards immediately.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform shipping, receiving, picking, loading, unloading, and case handling activities.
• Move product between storage locations, production areas, and shipping docks.
• Supply production lines with the correct materials and products to support operational requirements.
• Unload inbound shipments and accurately store products in designated freezer locations.
• Tag, scan, log, and store finished goods in the freezer inventory system.
• Inspect pallets and materials for damage, contamination, or foreign debris before use.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory cycle counts and physical counts.
• Follow stock rotation procedures to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
• Coordinate material movement requirements with Production, Planning, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and freezer environment.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Use required personal protective equipment and follow all safety regulations.
