Job summary

Sunrise Farms in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a warehouse associate to ensure orders are processed and shipped in compliance with GMP and CFIA/HACCP standards. You will load, palletize, and document shipments while maintaining product knowledge and safety on the warehouse floor.

The role requires ability to read orders, English fluency, and the physical capability for heavy lifting. Evening shifts, potential overtime, and exposure to cold and noisy environments are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Must be able to read and understand customer orders.
• Heavy lifting is a requirement.
• Able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be able to keep up with line pace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all loads are counted and accurately shipped.
• Load trucks in a safe and orderly manner according to route, ensuring load is properly secured and on schedule.
• Ensure orders are received according to Standard Operating procedures.
• Ensure orders are picked and palletized according to customer requirements.
• Ensure excellent knowledge of all products (packaging skids, etc.).
• Ensure all paperwork is shipping/receiving filled out correctly and incompliance with corporate procedures.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels.
