Job summary

Pixyls Crafts Inc. in Toronto is seeking a puzzle-obsessed content creator to lead our social channels for StickerNonos and beyond. This freelance role starts at about 10 hours per week, with a clear path to a full-time Social Media Manager position as our puzzle lines grow.

You will plan, shoot and edit short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok, recruit creators for influencer campaigns, and engage with the puzzle community to build a thriving, creative brand presence.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of short-form content, including your own account.
• Based in Toronto or the GTA, available for in-person pickups.
• Strong knowledge of TikTok and Instagram Reels and trends.
• Ability to shoot and edit independently with a phone and CapCut.
• Organized, reliable and comfortable managing creator relationships.
• Out-of-the-box creative thinker.

Responsibilities

• Spot puzzle trends, formats and sounds early and turn them into content quickly.

Pixyls is a Toronto-based creative brand making premium craft experiences: sticker-by-number art kits, desk friends, bookmarks, and a growing line of puzzles. Our newest line, StickerNonos, turns nonograms into something you can hold. Solve the logic puzzle, then place colour stickers to reveal the picture. We sell across Canada, the US and internationally, and we're carried at Indigo.

About the role

We're hiring a puzzle-obsessed content creator to lead social media for our puzzle lines, starting with StickerNonos. You'll create the content and run our influencer program. The role starts at about 10 hours per week on a freelance basis, with a clear path to a full-time Social Media Manager position as our puzzle category grows.

What you'll do

• Plan, shoot and edit short-form video and photo content for Instagram and TikTok (solves, reveals, time-lapses, tips and beginner explainers)
• Spot puzzle trends, formats and sounds early and turn them into content quickly
• Find and recruit puzzle and craft creators for influencer collaborations
• Engage with the puzzle community in comments and DMs

What we're looking for

• A genuine love of puzzles: nonograms, picross, sudoku, logic puzzles, jigsaws or crosswords
• Based in Toronto or the GTA, available for in-person product pickups
• A portfolio of short-form content you've created (your own account counts)
• A strong feel for TikTok and Instagram Reels: hooks, pacing, captions and trends
• Able to shoot and edit independently (a phone and CapCut or similar is fine)
• Organized, reliable and comfortable managing creator relationships
• Out of the box creative (this is a must)

Nice to have

• Experience running UGC or influencer campaigns for a consumer product brand
• An existing puzzle, craft or cozy-hobby audience
• Experience with Canva, Notion or a scheduling tool
• Interest in stickers, journaling or paper crafts

What we offer

• $30CAD hourly pay
