Job summary

Markage is seeking a Freelance Project Manager to join our Canadian team in a hybrid role anchored in Calgary, Vancouver, or Toronto. You will coordinate client projects from approved scope through delivery, bringing structure to schedules, responsibilities, and delivery information.

You will work with clients, client managers, designers, strategists, producers, developers, finance, and partners. AI-assisted tools may be used for status reporting and documentation, but all outputs are reviewed

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multi-step client or professional-service projects.
• Strong scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to work independently and start active projects quickly.
• DEX-PSP certification held.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and responsibilities.
• Coordinate internal and client actions, approvals, dependencies, and delivery dates.
• Lead or support project meetings and capture decisions and next steps.
• Track scope, risks, blockers, changes, and resource needs.
• Maintain status reports, estimates, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate handoffs between strategy, creative, production, technology, and client teams.
• Assist with budget and invoice inputs when needed.
• Close projects with complete files, decisions, approvals, and handover information.
