Job summary

Brand Momentum is seeking a passionate Makeup Artist – Beauty Ambassador to lead in-store makeup and skincare experiences in London, Ontario. The role offers flexible weekday/weekend shifts as an independent contractor, with Thursdays and Saturdays as primary shifts.

You will guide customers, deliver demonstrations, provide expert advice, and generate sales while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in makeup artistry and product demonstrations in retail or beauty settings.
• Strong customer service and sales skills with a customer-first approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for in-store interactions.
• Knowledge of skincare products and makeup trends is preferred.
• Professional appearance and ability to engage customers confidently for extended periods.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Makeup Artist to bring beauty experiences to life in-store. In this role, you will guide customers through makeup and skincare products, offer expert advice, and create memorable interactions that drive sales and build brand loyalty. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives in customer-facing environments, and wants flexible weekday or weekend shifts.

Hours: 10-12
Shifts: Thursdays and Saturdays

Your Mission

• Lead in-store workshops to introduce customers to makeup and skincare products

Ideal Profile

• Independent contractor with self-employed status (asset)

• Experience in customer service, product demonstration, or sales

• Strong expertise in makeup, cosmetics, and skincare

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional, polished appearance and strong customer-engagement skills

• Valid driver’s license and access to a car (mandatory)

• Smartphone for photos and reporting

• Ability to stand for at least 5 hours and lift to 20 lbs
