The Horizon Health Network invites applications for the Speech Language Pathologist 2 – Supervisor and/or Clinical Leader (SL02) based in the Fredericton area. This permanent full-time role (FTE 1) requires an English language proficiency with intermediate French, and a daytime schedule Mon–Fri 8–4 with possible provincial outreach.

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized university.
  • Registered and in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists with leadership demonstrated.
  • Regular attendance and ability to perform duties of the position.
  • Clinical expertise in speech language pathology with supervisory capability.

Responsibilities

  • Assign, oversee, review and evaluate service delivery.
  • Plan, direct and evaluate therapy programs and services.

JOB PURPOSE

The Speech Language Pathology Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of assessment, consultation and rehabilitation services for individuals with communication and/or swallowing disorders.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from a recognized university.
  • Registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists and have progressive related work experience (1 year) in which leadership ability and competency as a speech language pathologist have been demonstrated.
  • Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position.
