Job summary

TD is seeking a talented Fraud Performance Management Analyst in Ottawa to mine large datasets, develop fraud strategies, and protect TD customers. You will use SQL/Python to identify anomalies, monitor risk across channels, and collaborate with stakeholders to refine controls.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years analytics experience, strong data science tool knowledge, and the ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in an analytical capacity.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting.
• Experience with data science tools such as NumPy, pandas, and matplotlib (or R).
• Ability to communicate strategy analysis to both technical and non-technical teammates.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy fraud strategies to reduce risk while balancing loss and Customer experience.
• Identify new fraud vectors and optimize rules using SQL and Python.
• Monitor across products, channels, and risk segments.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses to support executive decision making.
• Improve and strengthen fraud analytics capabilities.
• Investigate high-risk fraud threats under tight timelines.
