Job summary

Master Care is seeking a Franchise Business Coach to work with franchisees and operating partners to boost sales, profitability, customer retention, and operational performance. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll identify opportunities and develop practical action plans across the network.

You’ll also help build Master Care’s franchise support platform by creating playbooks, processes, and coaching tools to support growing franchise partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive business leadership experience, including 5 years coaching franchisees or multi-unit operators.
• Franchise experience and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong sales coaching and business development experience.
• Financial acumen to help owners improve performance.
• Operational experience in a service-based business.
• Experience building practical systems, processes, and tools.
• Degree in business or related field; coaching/franchise certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with franchisees and operating partners.
• Conduct regular business reviews to assess results, address challenges, and identify opportunities.
• Develop annual business plans and quarterly priorities with owners.
• Establish clear goals and follow up on agreed actions and results.
• Coach on prospecting, quoting, follow-up, closing, referrals, and account growth.
• Review financial statements, pricing, margins, labour costs, and cash flow for improvements.
• Develop coaching tools, business review templates, sales playbooks, and operating procedures.

About the Role

Master Care is looking for a Franchise Business Coach to work with franchisees and operating partners to improve sales, profitability, customer retention, and operational performance.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll help business owners identify opportunities, develop practical action plans, and stay accountable to agreed goals. You’ll also help build Master Care’s franchise support platform, developing the playbooks, processes, and coaching tools needed to support a growing network.

What You’ll Do

Business coaching

• Build strong working relationships with franchisees and operating partners.
• Conduct regular business reviews to assess results, address challenges, and identify opportunities.
• Develop annual business plans and quarterly priorities with owners.
• Establish clear goals and follow up on agreed actions and results.

Sales growth and profitability

• Coach franchisees and operating partners on prospecting, quoting, follow-up, closing, referrals, and account growth.
• Help owners build sales pipelines, grow recurring revenue, and retain customers.
• Review financial statements, pricing, margins, labour costs, and cash flow to identify practical improvements.

Operational performance

• Work with owners to improve route staffing, scheduling, quality assurance, and customer service.
• Support adoption of Master Care’s operating standards, technology, and business systems.
• Identify and share best practices across the network.

Systems and program development

• Develop coaching tools, business review templates, sales playbooks, and operating procedures.
• Build onboarding and development programs for franchisees and operating partners.
• Gather feedback from the network to improve tools and programs.
• Work with the CEO and leadership team to strengthen franchise support and implement new initiatives.

What You Bring

• At least seven years of progressive business leadership experience, including five years coaching franchisees, multi-unit operators, or independent business owners.
• Demonstrated success within a franchise organization and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong sales coaching and business development experience.
• Financial acumen and the ability to help owners understand and improve business performance.
• Operational experience in a service-based business.
• Experience building practical systems, processes, and tools.
• A direct, collaborative coaching style that combines sound advice with clear expectations and accountability.
• A degree in business or a related field is preferred; relevant coaching or franchise certifications are an asset.
