Job summary

The Michaels Companies in St. Jerome, QC is seeking a Store Lead to coach a team of framers and to develop strong customer relationships. You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting framing solutions, while ensuring SOPs and company programs are followed.

You will help plan workloads, manage inventory, and support the Store Manager on performance management and talent development. This role requires leadership in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required for daily store operations.
• Preferred: experience managing a retail sales team.
• Experience leading a framing or craft store team is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing plans.
• Partner with Store Manager to ensure SOPs and company programs are followed.
• Plan workload, review sales and production, and manage inventory and shrink control.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in interviewing, onboarding and coaching.
• Support talent development, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
