Promise Robotics Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter to frame manual wall panels, floors, stairs and roofs in our Edmonton plant. You will read blueprints, measure and cut framing lumber, and install windows/doors while applying safety and quality standards.

The role offers hands-on training and the potential to be trained as a Robotic Machine Operator as the company expands production in the Greater Edmonton Region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Journeyman Carpenter certification.
• 2+ years of residential framing experience.
• Experience with building codes.

Responsabilités

• Assemble/finish pre-built wall, floor, and roof structures.
• Examine blueprints and building plans to prepare layouts and determine dimensions and materials.
• Measure, cut, and assemble framing lumber for residential buildings.
• Install exterior windows and doors.
• Frame floor panels per joist layout and shop drawings.
• Conduct interior work such as fitting interior doors and casings.
• Use hand and power tools (saws, drills, nail guns, etc.).
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to others.
• Maintain safety standards in the workplace.
• Follow quality control procedures.
• Ensure materials and supplies are available.
• Participate in problem solving sessions and continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties as required.
