Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Surrey, BC is seeking an experienced carpenter to perform layout, framing, and finish work across various sites.

You will measure, cut, assemble and install wooden structures, with responsibilities including windows, doors, stairs and hardware installation. This is a permanent, full-time role with day and weekend shifts and potential overtime.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of carpentry experience and can work at different locations around Metro Vancouver.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of carpentry experience preferred.
• Work in multiple locations.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
