RWC Systems Inc. seeks an experienced construction professional to read blueprints, measure, cut and assemble wood and light steel components. You will build foundations, install floor beams and erect walls and roof systems at various on-site locations in the Vancouver area.

The role requires reliability, teamwork and physical stamina. Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience and a secondary school certificate or equivalent.

Qualificações

• 3 years to less than 5 years of construction experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Good physical stamina and reliability.

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Supervise other workers
