Job summary

Beacon is seeking a product leader to join its Portfolio Product team in Toronto. You will own outcomes for 2 to 5 portfolio companies, acting as a fractional founder embedded in each business, and you will work closely with GMs, operators, and customers to ship software that drives measurable outcomes.

As you grow, you may lead a PM team, codify cross-portfolio playbooks, and help set product vision across verticals, partnering with founders and executives to scale impact and build durable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with strong product management fundamentals.
• Experience building B2B SaaS products and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to define roadmaps, plan strategy, and write specs.
• Strong customer discovery instincts and rapid opportunity identification.
• Ability to influence founders and executives without direct authority.
• Experience leading and developing other PMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own product outcomes for 2 to 5 portfolio companies concurrently as a fractional/founding product leader.
• Lead quarterly and annual planning, setting visions and translating them into goals.
• Build and maintain roadmaps balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Drive sprint planning and execution, improving velocity and predictability.
• Develop prioritization frameworks for CEOs and operators.
• Build customer feedback systems turning qualitative inputs into actionable roadmaps.
• Coordinate feature launches across engineering, sales, marketing and support.
• Coach developers, designers, and early PMs to think like product managers.
• Distill learnings into cross-portfolio playbooks that scale impact.
• Partner with GMs, founders, and operators to set product vision and roadmaps.
• Contribute to Beacon's broader AI platform by surfacing patterns and opportunities.
