Job summary

Schlumberger Limited in Edmonton is seeking a motivated Maintenance Associate to support the preparation, inspection, repair, and testing of frac equipment within our maintenance facility. This hands-on shop role involves mechanical work, use of hand and power tools, and safety-focused quality checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.
• Experience in a shop environment (maintenance, assembly, manufacturing, construction, or similar) is an asset.
• Experience in using power tools and hand tools is required.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime during weekdays and weekends.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble frac valves and related equipment.
• Inspect components for wear, damage, and required repairs.
• Repair, replace, and recondition equipment following established procedures.
• Perform pressure testing and equipment verification activities.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow SLB quality, maintenance, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
