Job summary

Fluor Canada seeks an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Calgary team. You will perform complex financial procedures, develop plans, and report findings to management, aligning with project objectives and compliance standards.

Responsibilities include advanced variance analysis, cash flow modeling, and developing improved reporting procedures. You will mentor technicians, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to major transactional projects in a dynamic EPC environment.

Qualifications

Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with required work experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
Knowledge of applicable local, provincial, and federal accounting standards and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform and apply financial analysis techniques including variance analysis, scenario analysis, and cash flow modeling.
Develop, establish, and continuously improve financial procedures and reporting for the assigned area.
Analyze and document complex work processes and promote improvement through root cause analysis and process justification.
Provide functional guidance to technicians and less experienced team members.
Respond to questions regarding finance and accounting issues with advanced knowledge of finance activities.
Prepare and present financial information to departmental management.
Other duties as assigned.
