Job summary

Simantic is seeking a founding software engineer to shape the direction of our software systems. You will own architecture and oversee development across UI/UX, deployment pipelines to AWS and other cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with customers during on-site deployments and incorporate feedback to drive product iterations. This role requires experience in open-source projects and cloud-based, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-stack development.
• Deployed complex systems on the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for complex workflows.
• Willing to work with customers directly.
• Experience with Cortex-M/RISC-V firmware development.
• Familiarity with Renode and SPICE simulations.
• Worked on open-source software projects.

Location: Waterloo, ON, Canada / San Francisco, CA, USA · Full-time

Compensation: $100K-$250K USD + 1-3% equity

As a founding software engineer, you will be involved in every part of the product development process. You will take ownership over the direction of our software systems on all levels.

This includes everything from the UI/UX of our software, to the deployment pipelines to AWS, and other cloud platforms.
