Job description

Position Overview

The Operation Specialist is responsible for safely operating a Reach Truck/Order Picker or Clamp Operator to perform responsibilities within the warehouse operations.

Position Responsibilities

1. Perform Reach /Order Picker or Clamp responsibilities.
2. Work closely with shift management and leads to accomplish shift goals.
3. Load, unload, pick, put-away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using both a Reach /Order Picker or Forklift or by hand.
4. Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
5. Reconcile inbounds with packing slips.
6. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications - Required

1. High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
2. Experience in logistics/distribution center is an asset.
3. Knowledgeable of RF systems in a logistics environment.
4. Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork.
5. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
6. Experience in leading a team is a plus.
