Adecco is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for a fast-paced warehouse. The role requires an Order Picker forklift and a safety-conscious mindset, with at least 1 year of experience in a warehouse.

Location is Halifax, NS, with temporary/full-time status. Benefits include paid weekly, health and safety programs, and training opportunities. You’ll contribute to safe, efficient material handling and coordination with drivers and dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating an Order Picker forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Experience with case picking, palletizing, and general labour duties.
• Slip sheet experience considered a strong asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring accuracy and product integrity.
• Use slip sheet equipment to unload containers, when required.
• Perform order picking, palletizing, and general warehouse duties.
• Manually load, unload, and move products as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety, security, and housekeeping procedures.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse team members, dispatch personnel, and drivers.
• Support daily warehouse operations and assist with additional tasks as required.
