Job summary

Advantage Personnel is seeking a Forklift Operator / Dock Worker in Kingston, Ontario. You will safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials, prepare shipments, verify product information, and maintain accurate inventory handling.

The role requires a valid forklift certification, warehouse experience, keen attention to detail, and reliable attendance. Shift is Monday to Friday, about 4 hours starting around 4:30pm, with potential for additional hours if needed.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification.
• Experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work at a fast pace during a condensed shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload various materials.
• Label shipments and verify product information and destinations.
• Build skids and wrap products to prepare them for transport.
• Maintain accuracy when handling, staging, and organizing materials.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by the onsite supervisor.
