SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator - Order Builder for the afternoon shift in Cumberland, BC. The role involves loading and unloading building materials, building orders, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 11:30am–8:00pm, with a wage range of CAD 22.50–30.00 per hour plus a CAD 3.00 shift premium. Candidates must have a propane forklift certification and at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Basic hand tool skills

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms.
• Ensure forklift maintenance and servicing requirements are met.
• Build orders to required specifications for delivery.
• Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner.
• Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials.
• Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands.
• Maintain contact with supervisors and work to resolve issues as they arise.
• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The Forklift Operator prepares loads and unloads building materials in the warehouse through the safe operation of a lift truck. Together with other team members, the Forklift Operator works to exceed customer expectations. The shifts are Monday - Friday 11:30am - 8pm and the wage range is $22.50 - $30 per hour (Tier 1; $22.50 - $26, Tier 2; $26 - $30), plus a $3 per hour shift premium.

• Ensurelift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met.
