Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and store materials.
• Handle pallets, food products, beverages, and hospitality supplies.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and warehouse shipments.
• Move products between receiving, storage, staging, production, and dispatch areas.
• Transport pallets and materials throughout the facility.
• Perform daily inspections of forklift and equipment before use.
• Check brakes, forks, tires, hydraulics, lights, and controls for safety.
• Maintain professional and safe working practices at all times.
• Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.

Job Summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, and reliable Forklift Operator to support warehouse, inventory, material handling, and logistics operations within the hospitality industry in Ontario, Canada. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to receive, move, load, unload, store, stage, and distribute food products, beverages, hospitality supplies, equipment, pallets, and warehouse materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and store warehouse materials.
• Handle pallets, food products, beverages, hospitality supplies, equipment, cartons, and other warehouse materials.
• Load and unload trucks, delivery vehicles, trailers, containers, and warehouse shipments.
• Move products between receiving areas, storage locations, staging areas, production areas, and dispatch areas.
• Transport pallets and materials safely throughout the warehouse and distribution facility.
• Perform daily forklift and material-handling equipment inspections before operation.
• Check brakes, forks, tires, hydraulics, lights, controls, and safety equipment before starting work.
• Maintain professional and safe working practices at all times.
• Perform other warehouse, material-handling, inventory, and logistics duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification/training applicable to the equipment and workplace requirements.
• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator, Forklift Driver, Warehouse Forklift Operator, Material Handler, or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and hospitality environment.
• Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and responsible.
• Willingness to work shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when required.
