Salary: $22.26 (Rate will be $1 less during probationary period – 900 hours worked).

Shifts Available and Hours:

• New hires may be required to work on day, afternoon, or overnight shift
• Pension – with Canada Wide Industrial Pension Plan – employer and employee contributions (Employer - $1.57 per hour worked, Employee - $0.75 per hour worked).
• Vacation – 2 weeks as per the Collective Agreement to start, after 5 years, increases to 3 weeks.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications :

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to operate both a crane and lift truck safely and have the required safety training and licenses.

Job Responsibilities:

• Gain knowledge of customer requirements for packaging and unloading.
• Load trucks in a safe manner and in a logical drop sequence.
• Shunt tractors and trailers.
• Load from a pick list.
• Lift when required.
• Meet Health and Safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
