Position Summary:

Operates a gas or electric forklift within departments, buildings, and grounds. Collects and delivers a variety of materials, following safety protocols. Delivers materials to designated areas, stacks materials in storage, and loads shipments onto trailers.

Shifts:

• Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am
• Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday 4pm - 2am
• Monday - Friday 8pm - 4am (12-month contract)

Essential Functions:

• Position forks or lifting devices to move pallets, skids, or materials, and transport loads to designated areas.
• Operate controls to drive trucks and lifting equipment.
• Unload and stack materials, loading or unloading onto pallets or lifting devices.
• Inventory materials and supply workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Ability to follow simple instructions and apply common sense.
• Deal with routine situations with minimal variables.
• Perceive auditory warning signals such as alarms and horns to ensure safety during operations.
• Solve routine problems following established policies.
