Our client, located in Markdale, ON, is currently looking for an experienced Full-Time Forklift Operator to work in their plant, working in the freezer environment. The ideal candidate must have forklift experience, be comfortable working in a busy setting, and be able to complete in-house forklift certification training. Shifts are a two-week rotation between days & afternoons. Wage starting at $23.75/hr.

About The Role

The selected candidate for this role will operate a forklift to load/unload products in a warehouse (and potentially outdoor) setting. Forklift certification and training will be provided but at least one year of direct forklift experience is a mandatory requirement for this position. Other tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Loading, Unloading, Packing & Unpacking Stock
• Labeling & Sorting Incoming & Outgoing Shipments
• Unloading Trailers & Transport Vehicles via Dock
• Relocating Stock within Dry Warehouse
• Operating Forklift, Winch, or Other Machinery
• Other Tasks as Assigned

• Highly Organized & Able to Prioritize Workload
• Strong Team Player with Ability to Self-Motivate
• Ability to Multi-Task & Handle Busy Work Environment
• Experience Working in Cold Environment

• CSA Approved Footwear
