Working Hours: Monday to Friday; Evening shift from 3:30 to 11:30 p.m

Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Person is responsible for operating a forklift, manually assembling products for customer orders, loading orders onto trucks, receiving inventory from suppliers, and restocking customer returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload building materials safely and promptly, placing them correctly in the warehouse.
• Pick and assemble customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Process receiving tallies and packing slips without delay.
• Assist customers by loading orders onto delivery trucks.
• Conduct spot inventory counts.
• Receive and restock inventory returns.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Meet customer service commitments.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Certification in Counterbalance Forklift operation is required.
• Knowledge of general building materials is an asset.
• Minimum one year of warehouse experience, familiar with order picking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) regularly and up to 85 pounds occasionally.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and reach during shifts.
• Receiving experience is a plus.
• Own steel-toed boots are required.
