Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is building a network of qualified forklift operators for anticipated openings in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, and logistics environments. The role involves operating Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts, loading/unloading materials, and performing inventory and shipping tasks.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of forklift experience, a valid external certification, and a strong focus on safety and attendance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck experience.
• Must have at least one professional reference.
• Valid External forklift certification.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck forklifts in warehouse and distribution environments.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials and finished products.
• Perform put-away, replenishment, and order-picking functions.
• Transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties when needed.

• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• SAP, WMS, or other inventory management system experience considered an asset.
