Qualifications

  • Salary range for Forklift Driver: $23.25 with shift premium of $1
  • Schedule: Midnight shift - 10 pm to 6 am
  • Profit sharing plan

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Scarborough as the Forklift Driver:

  • Enforce and adhere to the codes of the Employee Handbook.
  • Ensure the plant environment is kept tidy and safe.
  • Ensure the company complies with all Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Laws in all actions carried out by the Forklift Driver.
  • Retrieve skids.
  • Organize finished goods to ensure easy access and transit space.
  • Keep client stock in correct bays (e.g., DSC).
  • Remove skids not being used.
  • Transport scrap cardboard to the bailer.
  • Maintain tow motor equipment.

  • Previous experience in a leadership role is an asset.
  • Ability to instruct, direct, and motivate employees.
  • Proven ability to build trust and confidence with management and employees.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the corrugated industry and operating equipment.
  • Good working knowledge of company machine capabilities.
  • Certification/Diploma/Degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety policies, procedures, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act as provided by the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
