Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a Forklift Operator for a large meat processing facility in Brampton, Ontario. The role focuses on moving goods, loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate stock. You’ll work afternoon shifts with steady hours and competitive pay.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, speak English, hold a CB forklift certification, and complete a brief skills test. A safe, inclusive environment offers growth opportunities within the team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CB Sitdown forklift and load/unload stock.
• Distribute stock around facility and place products into storage areas.
• Pick orders using scanning system and stage loads.
• Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Clean up and maintain housekeeping; back-up duties as needed.

We are currently seeking motivated Forklift Operator to join our team for a large food processing company located in Brampton, Ontario. This exciting opportunity would suit anyone looking to learn new skills and work in Ontario’s largest industry.

Accountabilities

• Availability for pre-pricing products


• Operate CB Sitdown forklift


• Loading and Unloading racking and trucks


• Distribute stock around facility


• Place various products into designated storage areas


• Pick orders using the scanning system and stage loads


• Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts


• Load/unload trailers and containers as required


• Required to perform back-up duties in case of staff shortages


• Clean-up and maintain housekeeping


• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Necessary skills for verbal and written communication in English


• Must be able to perform heavy lifting, up to/including 50 lbs.


• Must have valid licenses and experience in, Sitdown CB Electric


• Practical Testing to be performed prior to start.


• Attention to detail and willingness to learn and take ownership.


• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize in a rapidly changing environment.


• Display a positive and proactive attitude.


• Necessary skills for working in a team environment and strong Leadership Skills.


• Work in and promote a safe environment; comply with all rules outlined.


• Other relevant duties as assigned by Distribution Supervisor and or designate.
