ForgeRock Developer

The ForgeRock Developer is responsible for supporting and enhancing the IAM program. Must have experience with ForgeRock development, including maintaining code and managing capabilities/functions within the platform and IAM services.

• OpenIDM
• OpenAM
• OpenDJ
• OpenIG
• Inline or Event hooks
• IAM Standards such as SAML2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth2.0, FIDO2
• CI/CD Tools like Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub, SonarQube
• Participate in or lead user acceptance testing and bug fixing efforts

What You Will Do

• Design and develop IAM solutions using ForgeRock products: OpenAM, OpenDJ, OpenIDM
• Hands-on experience with ForgeRock OpenAM, including installation and configuration
• Configure and customize ForgeRock Access Management for user authentication
• Develop and maintain workflows for user onboarding, identity mapping, merging, and provisioning
• Deep understanding of Single Sign-On, Access Management, Identity Federation, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Risk-based Authentication (RBA)
• Experience with Header-based SSO, SAML, OAuth, etc.
• Customize ForgeRock UI, develop scripts, and fetch assertion values from multiple data sources
• Experience with ForgeRock OpenIDM for provisioning and deprovisioning
• Develop and maintain REST APIs for core IAM functions
• Manage access provisioning and related services
• Support integration with Active Directory and other identity stores
• Knowledge of directory services and LDAP protocols (e.g., Active Directory)
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux/Windows commands, utilities, and scripting
• Understanding of TCP/IP, REST API, and troubleshooting skills in infrastructure, network, database, or security
• Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes
• Configure Routes, filters, and handlers in ForgeRock Identity Gateway
• Java/J2EE development and troubleshooting skills
• Support design, implementation, and maintenance activities for IAM with ForgeRock tools
• Implement monitoring using tools like Dynatrace
