Job summary

CPM Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled metalworking operator to lay out, set up and operate heavy machines including power presses, CNC equipment, and related tooling.

You will read specifications, follow instructions, inspect equipment, document work, and maintain safety while reading blueprints and schematics. A high school diploma and the ability to read calipers and tapes are required.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined.
• High School diploma required.
• Ability to read measuring devices such as tapes and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Layout, set up and operate heavy metalworking machines (e.g., power presses, CNC equipment).
• Read specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• Position heated metal ingots on die of press or forging machinery.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective action or minor repairs.
• Document work completed.
• Clean or lubricate equipment and replace parts as required.
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine procedures.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices (cranes, lift trucks).
• Inspect and examine machinery to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
• Other duties as required.

• Lay out, set up and operate one or more heavy metalworking machines such as power presses, saws, plate rolls, drills, , computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment,
• Read specifications or follow verbal instructions
• Position heated metal ingots, on die of press or other forging machinery
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective action or minor repairs
• Document work completed
• Clean or lubricate equipment and replace parts as required
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes and lift trucks
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
• Other duties as required
