Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Accountant to join its investigation unit serving the Kimberley region. The role focuses on uncovering fraud, irregularities, and misconduct through in-depth analysis and litigation support.

You will prepare detailed reports, assist with expert testimony, and help recover misappropriated assets, with a hybrid work setup requiring on-site presence for critical investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CA(SA) with forensic accounting experience or CFE certification.
• Minimum 5 years in forensic accounting or related investigations.
• Strong understanding of fraud schemes and legal procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Investigate suspected financial fraud, embezzlement, and other financial crimes.
• Analyze complex financial data, transaction trails, and accounting records to identify anomalies.
• Prepare forensic accounting reports, summarizing findings and supporting evidence.

• Quantify financial losses and assist in asset tracing and recovery efforts.
