Enforces appropriate safety procedures. Collaborates with Quality, Maintenance and other Departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a positive work environment and meet production goals. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*** Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.* Performs quality checks on sites and equipment to ensure customer and quality standards are met.* Develops work schedules for workers to achieve production goals.* Delegates responsibilities to team members.* Provides training, cross-training, performs evaluations, reviews, and initiates disciplinary actions.* Monitors and supervises cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory (Warehouse or Inventory).* Generates and reviews daily operation reports to ensure shift continuity and determine appropriate course of actions for any issues.* Identifies, communicates, and escalates maintenance items.* Collaborates with the Quality Department to develop and oversee quality standards on site.* Develops and implements action plans to improve and attain plant objectives to enhance efficiencies.* Documents injuries, makes recommendations and follows up with corrective actions to prioritize safety.* Hires, coaches, develops, monitors, and evaluates performance of staff.
