Job summary

Interpro Recycling in Thunder Bay, ON is seeking a hands-on Foreman to lead a yard team and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will oversee heavy equipment use, coordinate daily tasks, and help meet production targets while prioritizing safety and customer service.

  • 1-3 years in leadership roles (military, lead hand, supervisor or management).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and operate heavy equipment used for the loading and unloading of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
  • Support and oversee yard operations, including loaders, excavators and material handlers.
  • Supervise yard operators and tradespeople during daily yard operations, providing direction and support as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to support safe and reliable operations.
  • Identify, report, and address safety observations and hazards within the yard.
  • Communicate with yard employees using handheld radios to coordinate material movement and safety activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
