Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Foreman to oversee Grande Prairie Construction and Forestry operations. The role involves organizing and dispatching technicians, ensuring quality repair work, and advising the Service Manager on technician skills and training needs.

The successful candidate will lead a team in a bustling Grande Prairie service department, maintain safety and efficiency, and drive superior customer service while coordinating with branch personnel and customers.

Qualificações

• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard clerical tools.
• Willing to be available after-hours as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance or service is preferred.
• Certified Journeyman in Heavy Duty Equipment or equivalent trade required.
• Familiarity with John Deere products is an asset.

Responsabilidades

Description

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Foreman reporting to our Grande Prairie Construction and Forestry location. The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for the daily organization and dispatch of technicians, providing quality repair work for the Grande Prairie service Department, advising and making recommendations to the Service Manager regarding technician skills and training needs.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Responsible for the organization of the work performed and quality control


• Supervise the work of service technicians


• Maintain an organized, clean work environment Advise and mentor technicians

• Converse with the customers and operators on the phone, email, or in person


• Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department


• Opening and closing work orders, preparing work orders for warranty

What We Look For

• Strong organizational skills Basic Microsoft Office skills required


• Candidates must be willing to be available after-hours


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds


• Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset


• Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required


• Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred
