As a Food Services Clerk, reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will perform a variety of clerical tasks within the food services function. This position requires excellent customer service skills, auditing skills, attention to detail, and is an essential contributor to an excellent patient experience.

Your work will include:

• Receiving and filling new menu requests as per logged requests
• Checking assembled trays against meal tickets to ensure accuracy
• Comparing tickets to records and contacting units to clarify requirements, ensuring no duplicates
• Calling the Emergency Department to determine the number and type of meal trays required
• Ensuring clarity for trayline staff – printing names and special notes/instructions, and color-coding special diet menus according to legend
• Performing temperature checks on food and beverages, recording results, and maintaining records
• Printing inpatient records, updating meal tickets, and modifying production schedules
