Join our team as a Food Service Attendant today!

Permanent Part-time Position

As a Food Service Attendant, you are an integral part of our service team, enriching the lives of our residents by providing the highest quality culinary service in the dining room each and every day. Under the direction of the Culinary Manager, you are responsible and accountable for the delivery and service of meals and nourishments, the cleanliness of the dietary areas, and maintenance of equipment in accordance with specific standards and regulations.

The following traits and qualifications are required:

  • Appropriate Food Service experience, skills, and knowledge.
  • A valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate from local Public Health, or equivalent food handling training program preferred.
  • An understanding of food service and preparation is essential.
  • Valid alcohol servicing certificate is an asset.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in the English language.
  • Dependable, responsible, and able to work well with others in a team environment and independently.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude necessary to meet the goals and standards of the retirement community.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
