Job summary

Dexterra is hiring a Food Services Associate to join our team in Mississauga. Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will perform a variety of customer service-based tasks within the food services function.

This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and potential growth opportunities for the right candidate. Responsibilities include preparing items at an assigned service station, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the hospitality / food service industry.
• Food Safety certification is required.
• WHMIS test is required.
• Great customer service skills.
• Professional and punctual.
• Shift: Monday - Thursday 12pm - 8pm; weekend catering availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items and manage tasks at an assigned service station.
• Follow health and safety regulations while preparing food.
• Ensure cleanliness of work area, kitchen and dining area.
• Represent the company with goodwill and strong client relations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to create culinary experiences.
• Maintain speed of service and respond to customer queries.
