Job summary

Dexterra Group, a North American leader in built environment services, is hiring a Food Services Associate to support the Market Manager and deliver outstanding customer experiences. This role is based in Hamilton, Ontario, with daytime hours Monday to Friday 9:00am to 3:30pm.

You will stock shelves, maintain safety standards, assist with cashier tasks, and help create a welcoming dining environment for clients and guests. Growth opportunities exist within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Foodservice experience in hospitality
• Excellent customer service with a can-do attitude
• Cashier experience

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and assume responsibilities for assigned location tasks
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and practices while preparing food
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area
• Be an ambassador of goodwill and client relations for Dexterra Signature Dining
• Provide exceptional customer service and support checkout and cashier functions
• Answer customer questions and direct concerns as needed

As a Food Services Associate, reporting to the Market Manager, you will perform a variety of customer service based tasks within the food services function. This position requires excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. Hours for this position are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 3:30pm. Growth opportunities are possible for the right candidate.

Your Work Will Include

• Stock shelves and assume responsibilities for any job task associated with an assigned location.
• Adhere to all required health and safety regulations and procedures while preparing food including:
• Complying with FoodSafe and/or ServeSafe standards including the recording of all time temperature sensitive food items and equipment temperatures.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area
• Remain an ambassador of goodwill, ethics, and great client relations at all times on behalf of Dexterra Signature Dining.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times, supporting checkout and cashier functions in the Market .
• Listens to customers (internal and external) and responds professionally to all questions and concerns, directing concerns to further levels of management as needed
