Job summary

Aramark is seeking a General Help / Barista for the LLC Café at Bishop's University in Sherbrooke, QC. The role is part-time during the summer and transitions to full-time in the fall, with immediate start. Salary ranges from CAD 17.00 to CAD 20.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include beverage preparation, customer service, cash handling, and food prep in a team environment, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Salary

Between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

The schedule will be discussed during the interview. The position is part‑time during the summer and will transition to full‑time in the fall.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality beverages, ground coffee, and food items for all customers while following established recipes and standards
• Deliver exceptional customer service by always prioritizing the customer
• Operate the cash register
• Assist with setup and stocking duties
• Prepare sandwiches
• Rotate food products according to established procedures
• Restock refrigerators
• Clean service areas
• Comply with all established safety regulations
• Be able to respond to operational needs as required
• Perform any other related duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a café environment is considered an asset
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and seek clarification when necessary
